Guy has eight years experience as a copywriter and editor. He was invited to join Tivoli’s growing MarCom department as a senior copywriter, bringing the total number of professionals at that time to three.

As the department grew, so did Guy’s responsibilities, directing up to five writers and two editors. His natural talent for writing, editing, and proofing coupled with his technical background provided the expertise his peers came to rely on when planning and developing marketing tactics. He was continually sought out by other team members for both editorial and technical assistance.

Guy and his editorial team developed all copy for collateral and publications, and then editied it for delivery to the Web team. He also personally reviewed all copy for advertising and direct mail.

Later, on IBM’s Business Partner communications team, Guy was responsible for review and approval of all outbound communications including direct mail, e-nunurturing, and tele-nurturing.  In all, these communiations touched over 50,000 IBM Business Partners.
